In the September 2011 issue of Glamour magazine they ask readers to guess how much certain jobs pay.

(Don't judge me! I was reading the magazine at a nail salon!)

One of the jobs listed is brain surgeon.

A reader is quoted as saying, "If a doctor is operating on my brain, she'd better want to be there, even if it is for the money."

Average actual salary is $470,000.
