I have long held the belief that New Year Resolutions were stupid, because if you really want to do something, why let the year you begin hold you back?
I am now going against that belief because, for some reason, I really need the excuse of a new year to motivate me into doing something I’ve put off for far too long: exercise.
It has been eight months since I have done anything to boost my heart rate. I could provide some excuses but they are all lame and not worth writing here. The important part is that I have decided to make a resolution to put my health in my hands and make a commitment.
I am writing this so I can be held accountable for my actions.
The photo shown here is me after an intense 45-minute workout.
