Stupid platelets

Bittersweet is what I'd call tonight.I was supposed to begin cycle 14 of Temodar, but my day 28 blood work shows that my platelet count is low. (But not dangerously low.) I have to wait until next Monday evening to start chemo. While it is nice to delay Temodar another week and continue reaping the benefits of feeling normal, this just means I will have to deal with this next week. And dang it--I have plans for next week! The Bay Area Brain Tumor Walk is on Saturday, May 1, and that is now when I will be feeling my worst. Insert pouting face here.
