A long day
All I can say right now is that today was a great day at the neuro-oncology office. My brain is looking good--hopefully I will have some new pics to share soon.
Unfortunately, it was an 11-hour trip to drive there, have lunch, have the MRI, see Ms. S., the NP, drive through San Francisco during Friday afternoon commute traffic, pull over and have dinner to try and avoid traffic, get back on the freeway and crawl all the way home at 30-35 mph.
Needless to say, I'm tired. Brett wanted to take a walk when we got home, but now it's 9:30-ish and I am exhausted (and it's still hot out). Can't I just be tired from a day of driving? (And yes, I did drive.)
Time for sleep. A really good sleep would be amazing right now. I'm sure I'll fall right asleep after the 11-hour trip I've had today. My friend was telling me the other day about the sleeping problems she's been having lately. She said she was thinking of reading some of the mattress reviews on simplyrest.com to see if a new mattress might help her sleep better. I'm so glad that I'm not currently having any of those sleeping problems, I'd be exhausted! Anyway, I need to get some rest so I can turn 30 tomorrow.
