This has to be a quick post because I am insanely tired.I wanted to check in and say hi to everyone and let you know that I haven't forgotten about writing. Actually, I think about it every day.My life has been full lately with my job and the extra hours we work due to California's primary election. (Thankfully that ended tonight!)I have to warn you, though, I also have another job that is just about to get even busier--planning my wedding! I haven't turned in to bridezilla, but I certainly have a lot on my plate.Anyway... next weekend will be the first I've had free in over a month. See you then. :)

Liz Salmi is Communications & Patient Initiatives Director for OpenNotes at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston. Over the last 15 years Liz has been: a research subject; an advisor in patient stakeholder groups; a leader in “patient engagement” research initiatives; and an innovator, educator and investigator in national educational and research projects. Today her work focuses on involving patients and care partners in the co-design of research and research dissemination. It is rumored Liz was the drummer in a punk rock band.
