Note to self

My energy was low after the last round of chemo pills but has been back to "normal" for a few days now.

The sucky thing in all of this is that when I do feel fatigued or "out of it" I tend to think, "Sheesh--is this what it's going to be like for a while?" But then things come around in a few days.

I need a way to get messages to myself as I near the end of future chemo weeks. What would the message say? I would tell myself to:

  1. Drink protein shakes.
  2. Sit still after eating.
  3. Don't think about food.
  4. Have plenty of videos and books available for calm entertainment.

There, I did it. Now I just have to remind myself to read this blog posting every month.
