Relief

Brett, Bob, and I went to Redwood City yesterday to see the neuro-oncology crew. I had an MRI of my brain to see its changes over the past three months on Temodar (chemotherapy).

Guess what? The cancerous tissue (remaining tumor) remains the same and is visibly shrinking in some places. I know I am not out of the woods yet (I will be on chemo for at least another year), but I am relieved. A weight has been lifted from my chest. This is how I feel: !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!I am also humbled because I know that there are no guarantees. I will appreciate every day I have alive. I will not take positive change for granted when I know others who haven't been so lucky.I'm thinking about Logan.
