The things your loved ones put up with

Melanie is my best friend, and she was helping me try on clothes since my shoulder is still stiff from surgery.
If you were in the ladies dressing room at Macy's today, you may have overheard this conversation between Mel and I.
Liz: Oh, don't look at my underwear. I didn't realize when I was getting dressed this morning that we'd be out shopping and you'd end up with me in the dressing room.
Mel: Whatever, Liz. I've seen your ass in a hospital gown.
Liz: What?! Oh, yeah. Well, at least I was wearing full-coverage underwear then.
Mel: No you weren't. You weren't wearing any underwear.
And then I thought for a moment.
Oh, yeah. They make you take off everything except for the hospital gown when you have brain surgery.
Oh. My. God. What has she seen?!
Poor, poor, Mel.
