Possible damage to the motor strip

My world got crazier today as my neurosurgeon expressed that he's apprehensive about my second craniotomy.

That might be a red flag for some people, but I'm not worried. Why? Because he's not a neuro-oncologist—he's a surgeon.

He's worried that if we get too close to my motor strip it will create neurological damage that could inflict some level of paralysis.

I can understand how that is worrisome, but what's more important? Fighting cancer or being able to play right handed tennis?

I say fight the cancer.
