How should I live my life?

I've wrestled with a question for most of my life, but I debate myself more and more lately now that I'm all brain cancer-y: Should I live my life as if I will die at a ripe old age, or live every day/week like it could be my last?

I'm not a statistic, but what if I only had 4 more years left of normal brain functioning (at best)? The last thing I'd want to do is sit in a cubicle all day.

Too bad there's no healthcare plan without a cubicle attached.
